Two Favorites.

I saw this being done in the blogs I follow so I thought I'd do it too. It's two things in my home that I love. These two pictures of items just happen to be in my bedroom. The pictures aren't the best, but its whatever.

#1: my random shelves & pictures frames.

My daddy made me these shelves! They're 3 different sizes. The middle shelve is the longest, the top two are the second largest and the bottom side ones are the smallest. They were a wood color but I had my dad paint them black to go with my old apartment's decor. There's random things on them shelves. You can't see it but theres a laminated 4-leaf clover my dad gave to me for goodluck. The two bottles are Jack Daniels flavored drinks that I filled with black sand and put fake daisies in. There's a picture of my old kitty, Soco.. who I miss very much. :( There's tons of pictures of some of my closest friends! My senior pictures are up there, top left hand side.. along with another senior picture of me, next to my brother's senior picture on the other side. I even have my Prom picture from my Senior year. Awwe. Then there's the picture frame thing my moma got me awhile ago "Live Laugh Love", one of our favorite sayings. Lastly, there's a Black Cherry Soda bottle up in the top right hand shelve, that's the only thing I have in my room that reminds me of the ex of 4-1/2 years.

#2: My awesome entertainment setup!

I absolutely LOVE A: my TV! & B: my DVR box! :) I have a 32" Sony Bravia LCD TV. If you look to the bottom left hand corner you'll see my lovely DVR box, all thanks to Time Warner Cable. :) I seriously live & breathe on that thing. I have a lot of shows to record, even though most of them are on a break right now. Then on top of my DVR box is my DVD player & Blu-Ray Player. My brother hooked me up with a HDMI cable so I can watch all his Blu-Ray movies in the best quality. My broski has an AWESOME movie collection, he always buys the good movies right when they come out. In the top left of the picture there is another random decoration from my old apartment that I just thru some random stuff on, like candles, books, Nintendo DS games.. stuff like that. What you don't see in this picture is my movie collection. I have a LOT of movies, but they're mostly chick flicks. Haha

Brunette seems to work good for me.

I dyed my hair dark brown a couple weeks ago. It faded so quick, but I was expecting it too. What I wasn't expecting was my blonde highlights to try and creep through. So I dyed my hair again, but this time I went even darker than before. I think I might like it this dark. I've gotten soo many compliments on my hair since I went dark. It's insane. People I don't even talk to at work comment on my hair. I love it! :)

Birthday Celebrations Part 1

O'Charley's was HORRIBLE. I definitely wasn't impressed with the food, the service, nothing. Such a disappointment. Oh well though. I was surrounded by some amazing people, so that's always a good thing. I got to see my Kelly for the first time in a while! I've missed her tons. Lauren, Kelly & myself are all brunettes for the first & quite possibly only time ever. We all hate being brunette's but somehow always manage to dye our hair dark when we're at our blondest. Kelly is in the process of dying her hair back to blonde though, but she's only in stage 1 so she's still technically a brunette. Kelly always tries to talk me out of dying my hair dark, but when she saw it last night she said she liked it a lot! :) So that made me happy.

After dinner me and Lauren went to BG Breeze & met up with her friend from work, Neek. We did a couple rounds of $1 shots, had 2 or 3 guys buy us a round of shots. Kathryn came up from Green to go out with us, she met us at the Breeze then we all drove down to the Valley. We went to the Big Fish where Kathryn knew the bartender. We went to The Dorm after awhile, actually danced.. but prolly pissed more than anything, then went back over to the Big Fish. Lauren went from repeating "it's my birthday!" to "Jenner I'm drunk" to "I think I'm gonna throw up" so we left, before last call, surprisingly. Hahaha. Lauren ended up puking outside my car, in her driveway. I didn't hold her hair back, but I did manage to hold her up & out of the snowy driveway. Haha

Saturday is Lauren & Kenny's joint birthday party, I can't wait! It's going to be a great time! :) Hopefully I'l have more pictures to come!

O'Charleys!

Today is my one of my bestest friends' birthday! Lauren Nicole - HAPPY 23rd BIRTHDAY LOVE! ;) I sure hope her day is going AAH-mazing! I'm SO excited for tonight! She wanted to have dinner with friends on her actual birthday, so we planned to go out to O'Charleys. It's a new restaurant around here, that just got built in Cuyahoga Falls. I'm not 100% sure on whose all going besides, me, Kelly, Josh, Jena, then the boys- Bryan, Nick & Kenny. I believe Nick's girlfriend Kayla is coming? It should be a good time. I'm trying to buy a drink so I get to take the shaker home with me. Haha. Then I'll be steppin out with my bes fran to the Valley later tonight. That should be interesting. We both haven't been to the Valley in MONTHS! Actually we haven't been out during a weekday in a long lonng loooonnnggg time. I'm a little rusty in the consuming alcohol on a weekday, but I'm gettin mighty thirsty writing this blog! Ha. Alright I gotta go finish painting my face on, change, find my black boot since Mother Nature decided to make it snow on Lauren's birthday. Ugh. Then I think I'm gonna lay out my clothes for work tomorrow, just in case I'm not 100% "all there" tomorrow morning. Gotta plan ahead. Hahaha

It's already basically the middle of the week, I feel like I've barely worked this week, prolly because I haven't. Haha. Both Monday & Tuesday we were on the phones at work- where we have to call the customers to start the process of their claim towards a settlement, yeah it's as boring as it sounds. It's hard to get a lot of points though, so it's frustrating. Tuesday both Kaleigh & Shawn weren't at work, so I only worked half a day. Haha. I left work at 2pm and went straight home, to do absolutely nothing. I hung out with my daddy & my sickly broski. I went to Giant Eagle and bought the most random items: deodorant, Lip Smackers: Watermelon flavored, one cucumber, 2 boxes of Velvetta Shells with bacon, 20oz bottle of Pepsi and a Reese to satisfy my chocolate craving. I didn't get much done, but it sure was nice to have nothing to do. I did utilize my tanning bed in my basement though. My new kitten, Bubba decided he wanted to get a tan too. He seriously laid on my stomach the whole time. Sure hope he doesn't go blind. Monday I ended up leaving work at 5:15 & I went with Kaleigh to her crib for a little bit. I got to meet her handsome, younger brother-in-law Jeremy. He's a stud, I won't lie. And him and Kaleighs' hubby Matt had their guitars in hand. Guys with guitars, that sing, make me smile. :) We didn't stay at her crib long, we had to get to the Kent movie theater to see Valentine's Day with Michelle. It was a cutesy movie.

This past weekend was a little bit crazy, but in a way uneventful. Friday I didn't really do much, except chicken out on going over to some guys' house where he left his side door unlocked for me. I should of at least went to lock the door since I wasn't coming, right? Ha, oppsies. Well I didn't chicken out per say, I just knew he already fell asleep, so it was pointless to go over. My dad put roses in my room that I didn't see until late on Friday night. Made my night! <3 Saturday morning my parents woke me up to go get breakfast at Bob Evans, then they dropped me off at a basketball game where I met up with Kim & Shawn. After the game, I got bored & went to visit Katie at Applebee's, saw everyone I use to work with, that was nice. Then I went up to Lauren's work to visit her a little bit. She made me a bouquet of flowers with Gerbera Daisies for V-Day :) I had to take Katie's flowers to her parents house, so I visited with her mom for awhile, got caught up with each others life. She's a pretty amazing person.

I hung out with my family for a little while Saturday night, I wasn't really planning on doing much. But I did manage to drink some of the beers in the fridge & my boys.. Nick & Kenny were together and we all decided to go out for Jaeger Bombs. I didn't get dressed up at all, I wore jeans with an Ellet Basketball hoodie, hair pulled up & my glasses. We went to Brubakers first, it was way too packed, we all got one beer and left. We went to a bar in Brimfield and the shots began. When I came out from the restroom one time there was this guy standing right next to my chair talking to Nick & Kenny. They were talking about how they played football against each other, blah blah blah. I wasn't paying much attention until the guy brought up a mutual friend me & the boys all went to school with. Then the bomb dropped, the random guy was the dude that left his house unlocked for me the night before step-dad. What are the chances!? What makes it even worse is my friend Nick was like "Jenner knows your son...." and the step-dad turned to me "Oh you know my son? You fuck him?" Ahhhh, just lovely. That was my entertainment for the rest of the night. He asked me that like 4 more times. Said random things a 40 year old shouldn't. It was awkward but hilarious. The boys couldn't stop laughing and they remind me everyday of what the step-dad said. I have the strangest luck ever. We finally left that bar and went to downtown Akron where we basically got VIP service. More shots & free beers. I was drunkitty, drunk drunk drunk. Both Kenny and Nick were wasted (fuckin Jaeger bombs, HA!) Nick doesn't remember coming home. Kenny lost his belt and his cell phone, come to find out his belt was in my back seat and his phone was in his driveway under an inch of snow. (He stayed at his sisters house that night though?) We basically had our own little verison of the movie "The Hangover." Ha, great times! I woke up Sunday with a really bad hangover. Lauren wanted me to go V-Day shopping with her so I did, I don't remember what else I did after-wards, pretty much jus lounged around, did a whole-lotta nothing.

PS. While I was writing this blog I realized that I've slacked on the bloggin thing so bad that half the things I talked about need updated about. I got a kitten, his name is Bubba. I'll have to post some pictures. He plays with my two dogs. He rules the house. He smells like a puppy, not a kitten, no joke. I wubbbbb him. <3 My friend that I had blogged about previously that I was losing touch with appeared on my doorstep a few weeks ago. I couldn't be happier. She's the only person that knows EVERYTHING about me, past- present & future. I love that she can confide in me everything that she has to hide from her work & other friends. I also have an offer on a house near my neighborhood, sorta closer to a different "town." It's a "Short-Sale" and it's taking FOREVER to get back to me. I'm so anxious. There's a lot more to talk about, but I'm all talked out for tonight. xoxo

Movie Monday!

This upcoming Monday, February 15th is 5 dolla movie night at the Kent Plaza Theatre’s! I’m so excited :) I’m going with my buddy’s Kaleigh, Michelle & Lauren. We’re seeing Valentine’s Day. Valentine's Day is for lovers.

Alright. Valentine's day is SO over-rated. It's prolly one of my least favorite holidays, not gonna lie. If you don't have a special person in your life, the first two weeks into February are brutal. You can't go inside any store without being greeted with the colors pink, white, and red. Whether it be flowers, ribbons, stuffed animals, cards, signs, chocolates, balloons or whatever else. I find myself looking for a lighter or a match to light to throw down each Valentine's Day aisle to watch it go up in flames. Don't get me wrong, I'm not completely against Valentine's Day, it's just easier for me to hate it. It's worked well over the years. When I was in high school, I got dumped the night and/or week before Valentine's Day on numerous different occasions. That made it so easy for me to hate this time of year. Then I met someone and he showed me what a real Valentine's Day could be like. He basically went over-board every single year we were together. And that's why I believe Valentine's Day is 110% for lovers. I might say I hate Valentine's Day with a passion, but deep down I love it. I'm a hopeless romantic at heart, and that'll never change.

PS. Roses are over-rated in general. Pink Gerbera Daisies is where it's at! :)

My very first best friend is Kyla Rae Salmons, we were born 5 days apart, our moms were best friends, so naturally we became best friends, and YUP we're still the best of friends to this day! :) When I was 6 months old I got my first "guy" best friend. He was my neighbor across the street from me, unfortunately I moved when I was 5, then once middle school & highschool hit we both had changed sooo much, we stopped talking.
