First March Weekend. Warning: Some drama involved, if interested.. read.

This past weekend was INSANE. It went by so fast! Friday was a pretty chill night. I went for a beer or two with Beth from work after we got off. We went to Johnny Malloys & watched the Cav's play & the Kent & Akron U game. We didn't leave til after 1am.. time flew by real quick, didn't even realize it was that late! Haha.

Saturday night I met up with Lauren at her boyfriend, Joshs' house for surprisingly, a bonfire. I brought Kenny & Nick. Danny beat us there. It wasn't so bad, I didn't really get cold. It was a nice change of pace. It's definitely a sign that Winter is ending.. hopefully! Then me and the boys left to go to Emils' party. We got there before 10 and I was the only girl. Finally, Margo & Ashley came, then later Marissa, Katie & their friends showed up. The night ended up with fights, drama & nonsense. The fights were actually pretty bad. Like 5-6 guys having to hold back each dude bad. Prolly over 10 guys were shirtless by the time I left. People were punching people to calm them down. It was pretty intense. All the meanwhile I was sittin at the table with Nick's girlfriend drinking, watching the show. Haha. Things got real serious though, the guys wouldn't cool down. Emil ended up having to call the cops. One dude went to the hospital. We all left, but not before one of the dudes slashed one of the hott head dudes' tires. I'm telling ya, I do NOT miss the party/drama/fight scene. I'd rather just go to a bar with a few friends.

When I was taking a few friends home, I got a text from an old friend. This guy I met through my ex fiancee. He asked if I wanted to come over & cuddle. Random as hell. Haha. I went over, ended up hanging out with him & his friends til like 6-7am. He played his new guitar he just got the other day that he's currently in love with. His best friend sang the songs as he played. They prolly played & sang over 15 completely different songs. Without looking up lyrics or music or anything. I was truly amazed. He even played a few of his own songs that he wrote. My favorite song is titled "Nothing", I think? I reallllly want to listen to it again damnit. Music is a passion of mine & I've said it before.. guys with a guitar in hand is a weakness.

Sunday I wanted to go house hunting, but I didn't get home til 1pm and I was quickly reminded that my family & I were celebrating my daddy's birthday at 5. So I took a shower & lounged around the house. I was so tired by the time it was game time with the family I couldn't keep my head up at the table. I guess I'm getting too old to stay up all night. So I attempted to go to bed early, but I ended up watching movies.

For the first time in 3 weeks I was excited to come to work today. It didn't matter what exactly we were doing, whether it be on the phones or pricing, I was genuinely happy at work today and my day went by extra quick. I'm sure there's reason behind that, but whatever. I had a good day too. Hopefully this whole week is good as Monday!

I'm keeping my fingers crossed that I get to see Kaleigh at work this week, I've missed her SO much!

1. Are you more of a talker or a listener?
I'm not sure.. possibly more of a talker? I try hard to listen a lot more, because I enjoy helping people & understanding their situation to the point of maybe what I have to say helps them out some.

2. Bra. Underwire or wireless?
Underwire.

3. I wish I was.....?
younger than what I am. I'm starting to get too old for my likings. I wanted to accomplish sooo much at certain ages & I did not accomplish one damn thing.

4. The Academy Awards are on tonight..will you watch?
I believe this is an old questionaire, because the Oscar's are on tonight & I didn't watch them.. I did google the actresses outfits & such :)

5. Do you put your deodorant on before or after you get dressed?
Before. It sorta makes more sense to put it on afterwards though, so you don't get the deodorant marks when you put your shirt on.

6. Would you rather do the dishes or clean toilets?
Either or. I don't really like to clean, but at the same time it doesn't bother me too much.

7. How much did you weigh at birth?
6 lbs 7 ounces seems to be popping up in my head? But I can't say that for sure.

8. If you could only buy one thing for the Spring/Summer season..what would it be?
Every color flippie flops from Old Navy.

Good Deeds.

My mom use to own a tanning salon a few years back. It was called Love 2 Tan, she opened it up in 2000, unfortunately she had to close it down in 2005. I worked there the whole time she owned it. I know how hard it is for small tanning salons to make it when there's so many other options now. Such as Darque Zone having over 30 beds per salon & now Mystic & healthy Spray tans are on the rise. For some reason, I have a lot of people ask me where is a "nice", "clean" tanning salon to go to. I don't know why they keep asking me because I haven't been in the tanning business for over 5 years now. Haha. But I still get the random "where should I tan?" question from time to time.

Well a couple days ago I had someone text me "Hey! I need to get a tan before the wedding :) Where do you tan? I need a nice, clean place for me to go?" I didn't have this person stored in my phone, but they acted like I should know who they were. I felt so bad! Before I got into the tanning details I asked them who they were, turned out to be a verrry old friend of mine that I use to be best friends with. We were inseperable. Annoyingly joined at the hips type deal. In highschool we went our different ways, but we didn't have a falling out or anything like that. I told her that I'm currently tanning in my basement (My mom kept a tanning bed after her place closed, yeah- I'm spoiled! Haha.) but to try Tanlines, which is in Akron, OH- on the corner of 91 & Newton Street. If you're from around here, I do highly recommend them. They're beds are awesome & not only is it clean but it's a very nice atmosphere!

Secondly, I had someone that I work with, Deidre, ask me if I have ever done a spray tan. Which I have. About a year or two ago I decided I wanted a little bit of color for my friend Lauren's Divorce party. I only did the first "stage" of darkness because I was extremely pale. I didn't see any difference, seriously. But other people I know have tried to get "tan", for whatever reason, and I swear they come out orangey. I can't stand that look. It looks so fake! So I told Deidre to try the healthy spray tans, where someone literally sprays you themselves. I told her that I know a lot of people that do it, and keep up with it and their tan color looks great! I recommended her to go to Golden Touch, which is a friends' that I graduated with place, or well her family owns it. It's located in Inspire Salon & Day Spa in Tallmadge, so check them out if you're interested!

I feel as if I've done a couple "good deeds" by recommending these two places because I know the people that own them. I'm always willing to help peoples' business, by spreading the word out or however else. I really do recommend both these places & wish their businesses the best of luck!

Sad but true.

I didn't get the house I put an offer in. Someone else not only out-bid me, but offered more than the asking price. I was in awe with that house. But everything happens for a reason right? Now I'm back at it, searching all over the place for new potentional homes. My favorite Agent Lady- Tricia, sent me over 40 houses to look at. I sent her back a list of about 15-17 houses that I liked & wanted more information on. Hopefully I'll get to check out a few over the weekend. This whole house hunting thing is starting to get old, really quick. I'm the most impatient person ever, so that doesn't help the situation. But wish me luck, April is right around the corner & I want that First Time Home Owner tax credit!

5 days.

Monday, March 8th is 5 days away. I was highly upset after this past Monday went by and the majority of the fall/winter shows picked back up and my show; Gossip Girl still had another week before it started up it's episodes again. I'm going crazy. I'm in love with that show. Haha. You can laugh all you want. If you don't like Gossip Girl- I don't care. I'm sure there's shows you love that I don't care for. So Ha! One of the main reasons why I love this show so much is because it has some of most favorite actors/actresses! Blake Lively (Serena Van Der Wooden), Penn Badgley (Dan Humphrey), & Chace Crawford (Nate Archibald). Another reason is because it's based in New York City, so I love watching the episodes just to see NYC. :) If you don't follow the show, it definitely lives up to its title. It's gotten a bit crazy, & off the wall, but I still love it. I'm pumped for the new episode on March 8th!

PS. This outfit is amazing!

Birthday Celebrations Part 2

I'm gonna try to keep this blog short and sweet, only because I have to get to bed. I have to wake up tomorrow at like 630, to get ready & be to work by 8. I'm already ready to shoot myself in the head, with a 20 gauge shot gun. I'm totally not a morning person. But it's whatever, my manager needed a favor & I'm a quick learner, so I was game. I just CAN'T be late Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday or he'll kill me. Haha.

So the second part of the birthday celebrations was a kickass time! There was a lot of drama through out the girls that were there, which I didn't see coming one bit. But surprisingly, no fists were thrown, no shit talkin- nothing. Which is always a good thing. Lauren was actually on time for something. Actually let me rephrase that, she was EARLY for something. She was at Kenny's around like 730-8, I didn't pick up Nick until 840.. but at least we were still there before everyone else started showing up.

Lauren and me sorta went all out for Kenny's birthday present. We didn't even really do it intentionally, it sort of just happened. We both spent about $40, maybe a little more than that. But it was worth it. We got him some pretty cool stuff, I just hope he liked it all! Lauren bought him a thing of Jager, I bought him a Ohio State shirt. We went in halfsies & got him a flask & had it engraved "K-Milly" on the front & "Fuckin' Jager Bombs" on the back! We're very proud of our present giving skills. :) Make sure you check out bag we put everything in! Ha.

Real men wear belt buckles! Haha. So I kinda have a thing for guys that wear belt buckles. Except every guy in that above picture I would never, ever date. Kenny is my best friend from 7th grade, Josh is Lauren's boyfriend & Danny.. is just well- Danny. Plus Kenny & Danny are going to be my room-mates. That'd just be weird. The boys are very proud of their belt buckles. My favorite was Danny's. His opens up to a lighter. Bahahaha. Here are some random pictures from Kenny's party. A lot of people showed up for Kenny & Lauren's party. Kenny ended up going to bed pretty early. I don't remember what time exactly, but he was gone for awhile & the party kept going. Hahaha. My friends Kyla & her friends stopped by for a little bit. Marissa & her friend Kayla came out. Marissa saved the day, seriously! I forgot my camera at home & she was so nice enough to stop by my crib & grab it before coming to Kenny's! :) Everyone from Joe's came out & dominated on the pong table until Lauren's neighbors came. I've missed King, Alvin & Chiefy. I just wish Mack & Blough woulda made it to the party too! Below are some pictures of old friends that have become pretty close again. I care for them a lot, especially Marissa. I've known her since she was born, I don't know why it took us so long to get so close!
